Polished stainless, polished blued or black Cerakote finish?

From science class I recall that a polished shiny surface was better for reflecting and retaining heat. Hence kettles are normally polished and shiny.

Black surfaces (especially Matt black) absorbed heat from the sun more but also lost heat much faster compared with a shiny mirror finish.

Which barrel finish is better for cooling the barrel down?
