is this normal or am i in some weird homoerotic type friendship right now

me and my best friend have known eachother since we were 10, we’re both bi (fun fact she actually was the one who taught me what that was cause i was super sheltered). for years, we’ve been joking about being madly in love, to the point where classmates never hit on me BECAUSE they thought i was in a lesbian relationship with her. i’ve always seen her as a friend and nothing more (except for like a week when we were 13, that was weird), but recently whenever i’m around her i kinda wanna like passionately kiss her in a friendly way. she feels the same apparently, and her substitute for this is just taking my hand and kissing it every few minutes. is this weird? are we friends? because she feels like my friend, is it gay to wanna kiss my friend?
