What if Takumi and his dad moved from Japan to America just after the events of 1st stage?

Lets say in an alternate universe, Bunta and Takumi sell the tofu shop and move to America (somewhere in California) for some reason and Takumi then goes to an American high school. Bunta sets up another tofu shop and buys a USDM AE86 for Takumi to deliver in.
