Luxe XR feels like smoking cotton even after coil changes

My Vaporesso Luxe XR suddenly started hitting weird after changing the coil for the first time. It tasted amazing before, but now feels/tastes like cotton/burnt (immediately). I tried cleaning it out & replaced the coil a few times (waited 20min+). There’s also excess vape juice in my mouth. It seems bad to use it.

I have MTL pod & 0.8 coils, with 35mg nic salts. My bf has same vape & juice and has never had this problem. I’m kinda new to using real vapes (just quit disposables) so idk if my vape is defective or if I did something incorrectly.
