stats analysis

I have a question. I did my statistical analysis since I know how to and I had experience in junior high. I'm afraid that the panel would ask me about this in my defense tomorrow. What should I say if they ask if I checked with a statistician about my analysis. ps. my study isn't about statistics its archi. so I didn't deem it to be too complex for me and there are programs to use.
