Feeling Like a Lonely Dummy in JEE Prep - Help!

SERIOUS POST

Hey everyone,

Struggling a bit with loneliness here and hoping someone can relate. I'm neck-deep in JEE prep (2025 tard) and while I'm motivated, this whole "dummy school + online coaching" thing is making me feel super lonely. I'm taking online coaching. While the online coaching is great, I miss having classmates to discuss concepts with, motivate each other, and just chill with during breaks. No one in my school or even my locality is seriously preparing for JEE. The people in my locality aren't really interested in JEE prep, and their carefree attitude can be distracting. So, I tend to limit contact with them to stay focused on my studies. It's tough seeing everyone chilling, traveling, and having fun while I'm glued to my study materials. Honestly, it's demotivating sometimes.

Fortunately, someone I know introduced me to this subreddit (huge thanks to him!).

Anyone else been in this boat? How'd you deal with the loneliness?

Thanks,

A Lonely JEE Aspirant
