Priority group 8?

I just got out in February, sent my claims in in January before I got out and still waiting at PFN for a week now. Just received a handbook in the mail that says I’m assigned to priority group 8 but have no percentage or information yet on claims. Reading what 8 is says it is non-compensable because of service related. Is this accurate for what I should expect my claims to come back as? I have like 12 claims in that happened while I was in service in my record, I don’t see how that is possible. Anyone with any insight or experience please let me know
