They talk the talk, but the product is somehow disappointing
The skin (deluxe edition) for the macbook air m1 is not what they promised. The precision is generally not as advertised, and I am taking into account already that vinyl has a certain plasticity, and the application leaves room for errors. I can live with half a mm here and there on the top and bottom part, but: after applying the strip part above the function row the lid won't close without applying a lot of extra force. Which in my book is a bad idea since it strains the hinge and/or forces some flexing in parts of the display that weren't meant to flex. Removing the top strip ruins the color unity of the inner part of course, so the palm rest has probably to go, too. Which is a shame because of the time spent to apply, the money spent to buy and the recources spent to ship this fancy piece of plastic across the globe.
