Including older jobs in resume but excluding bullet points on them?
I have quite the resume that even a couple of resume professionals have told me I'm "too complex". I've always been told to have at least 10 years of work experience on it, but I've worked many jobs and held many many hats within those 10 years even though I've only been in the workforce for 10 years. I've also been told to fit everything in ONE page....super challenging for me...
My question is: How do I still include that I held a particular job without fully omitting it when the skills I've learned from that particular career would be beneficial for the position I'm applying to while still maintaining ONE page?
I'm applying for program management, operation management, and researcher positions. Within my 10 years, I've been a program manager, operation manager, researcher, paramedic, brand ambassador, and instructor within the medical profession. I've done speeches, have published research papers, etc. I do not have a degree (yet).
It would also be nice to know if anyone has tips on how to tailor my resume so I stop running into the "overqualified, but under educated" situation.
Thanks!!!
