The 76 Camaro

So since I was a kid I’ve wanted a second gen camaro. This week, I had one pop up on market place for about 5k. I could afford the payments, and the owner says it is pretty much good to go, aside from some minor rusting. The odometer has rolled over, and we don’t know exactly how many miles is on it, but the owner assures that the engine and transmission both have 0 issues whatsoever. However the engine that is in this 76 Camaro is a 350, and to my knowledge that means it was swapped. The car would be driving home about 300 miles, and from then on would be a daily driver. If I buy this car, I hope to have it forever, replacing the parts when I have to like the ship of theses if I have to. It’s the car I had a poster of on my walls as a kid. Is it worth it? Do I go for it? Would it be reliable??
