Is this a thing you’ve seen before? (weird light shorting/flickering)

I am very much one of those people who looks for mundane explanations for things before thinking it could be anything else, but the weirdest thing happened this past weekend.

I was at my best friend’s house, who lives eight hours away and I hadn’t seen in a year. She lives in a really nice house, and it’s not old but not new, in great shape.

We were talking in the kitchen when the overhead lights started flickering. Once, we were like, “that’s weird.” Then two more times. She was like, “PomegranatePrincess, that has NEVER happened before, what did you bring with you to my house?” She honestly lit incense to cleanse afterward.

It didn’t happen again on the trip, but when I finally got back home…the same thing happened in our dining area. The very same thing. And it had never happened before here, either.

Her teenage daughter is sensitive and said she didn’t feel anything negative around me, but maybe someone or something was trying to get in touch?

Again, I truly am usually like, “there’s a normal explanation for this” about everything, but…this was strange and specific and repeated in two places it had never happened before that are several hours (and several states!) apart from one another.

Have you ever experienced something like this? I’m honestly not like, scared…more like if I’m getting some sort of communication, I want to be able to respond to it?
