AITAH for being upset my boyfriend accepted my money

This is my first time posting and I’m not the best at explaining things so please let me know if you need any more info! My boyfriend and I have been dating consistently for about 5 months.

This past weekend my boyfriend(33M) and I (31F) got an Airbnb 3.5 hours away. The first day into our little vacation, we had driven about an hour south of where our Airbnb was located when I got a call that my dog wasn’t doing well. He’s 12.5 and my mom was watching him. As I was talking to my mom and some of my neighbors who know my dog well, it seemed urgent I got home as soon as possible. My boyfriend said we could figure out our things at the Airbnb later to save an hour going back north to get me home as soon as possible. (My boyfriend and I do not live together.) On our way to my house, he told me he would drive back that night or the next day to grab our things and not to worry. Of course, all I did was worry and feel guilty about our trip being cut short and him driving so much, on top of being a wreck about my dog. He was persistent that I spend time with my dog and he would take care of it. I offered to pay him gas and gave him my debit card. He declined and said it wasn’t necessary but took my card to humor me. Today I checked my bank account and he filled up his truck twice and bought lunch totaling $150. I can’t help but feel weird about it. I’m so appreciative for what he did, but I do so much for him too. I guess I just didn’t really think about the situation until I saw my bank account. Am I an asshole for being upset he took my money? I definitely need opinions on this one! Thank you!!
