Doing a lot better, starting PT Monday.

I still have pain every morning, but it’s better than it was at its worst. I still have moments of bad pain, but it’s becoming less. It’s not centralizing, but it’s coming and going. Numbness is still here, but it hasn’t spread. I’ve been exercising in very short bursts (15 minutes at a time) for up to an hour a day since my pain has gone down from a 10/10 and 9/10. I’ve been doing this for 7 days now since my injury started 4-5 weeks ago and I had to stop all activity for a week or so. I don’t do anything that hurts. So far I’ve noticed that even if the mornings suck, the exercise helps me get the pain down to a manageable level for the day and I haven’t had to take medication as often. Sometimes I might take a muscle relaxer at night but that’s about it. But I’m happy I’m feeling less pain. I’m wondering if this is just what life is like now, just having occasional small pains but I’m sure I just need to give it time. It took what felt like forever to get to this point.
