Left behind

I use air tags while traveling to track luggage. Unfortunately, I left one on the counter of our hotel room. What should I do? I’d like to deactivate it and delete it from my devices. Is there any potential that someone could gain info from me (iCloud, email, etc) with this air tag? Thanks!
