How do you feel about marroed couples posting lovey dovey messages to each other on FB?

Just wanted to know the public opinion. I have a married friend who, on every relevant occasion (bday, vday, anniv, mothers day, fathers day, etc) never fails to post a love letter length message for her hubby on fb, complete with pics of their happy marriage. The hubby does the same.

I find it performative because I prefer to give my SO a card with the love letter, but seems like a lot of people like her posts and I wonder if I'm the only one who finds it for show?

Whenever an occasion comes up, I feel guilty for not posting something on fb for my SO, or if I do, I feel obligated, not sincere.

How do you feel about this? Maybe we can include bf/gf, though I'm at the age demographic where all my friends are married. 😅
