Eye contact

Does any else struggle with making eye contact to strangers? I recently started having a lot of trouble with trying to meet strangers eyes especially when walking past someone and such. I don't mind making eye contact with people I'm close with though. Definitely feel like this is a new thing for me, I feel like I've come across a lot of uneasy feelings from looking some strangers in the eyes and has caused me to no longer do so.
