Impacted canine

I have impacted canine and odontoma my dentist said I need to get braces and odontoma removal but for now I can only afford to get braces, can I get my odontoma removed next year?? Because I need to save money. I'm to shy to ask my dentist (I have social anxiety) that's why I decided to go here. Sorry for my grammar
