Subs are asking for payment methods and disappear

I want to understand but I can’t. I had up to 10 guys on snap last 2 days, we were chatting a bit. I don’t require tribute at the very beginning because they are don’t know me at all. Then I say about tribute if they want to continue, they are asking how can they pay and as soon they have my link they are just disappearing. What is that? Are they Shy to admit they can’t pay? Moreover domestic of them said “thanks goddess, going to pay”. Is that happened to you? What’s your thoughts?
