My dad REFUSES to wear sunscreen

Is this even a boomer thing?? Maybe here and there i’ll see people who are into conspiracies talk about sunscreen but this is just angry refusal. I say the word “sunscreen” am he storms off in a huffy puffy rage- as if i DARE suggest i put fake news poison on his body. He rather get his skin burnt off at the dermatologist than slather this shit on. Why?? What can POSSIBLY be this RAGE refusal of using this product??
