[PS1] [1998-2001?] A survival horror game, very reminiscent of Resident Evil

Platform(s): I'm pretty sure I must have played this title on my dad's PlayStation One

Genre: Survival Horror/Action(?), the game reminded me a lot of the classics Resident Evil (1/2/3) but the gameplay was much faster

Estimated year of release: I've played around 2006-2007, but I'm pretty sure the game must have been released in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Graphics/art style: Reminds me alot of Parasite Eve, Resident Evil, not sure about if the scenarios were pre-rendered too, the character select screen had illustrations of the protagonists in anime style

Notable characters: There were two selectable characters, a girl with short brown hair who wore a beret, very similar to Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 1, she was wearing shorts, and there was a vest with something written on her back. I'm not really sure about the guy, maybe he had short red hair? And he wore a green combat outfit

Notable gameplay mechanics: I remember that it was possible to use melee attacks on enemies, there were some creatures that crawled across the floor and jumped at you, also at the start you end up facing a giant work, similar to the Grave Diggers on Resident Evil 3 (1999)
