Employment Gap Related to Parenting

Hello, y'all! I am currently fixing up my resume to apply for jobs. However, I have a recent 18+ month gap in employment.

I took time off because my son was being bullied at school. Despite some serious injuries, the school would not help. I was able to find a lawyer to help me advocate for him. My son already had an IEP in place, which made the process smoother. We were able to get the school to agree to a transfer after several months. My son finished out the year at the new school and has been doing better now.

The issue I'm having is how to put this on a resume. Should I make it one sentence and say it was due to a family issue? Should I list it like work experience with bullet points? I have no idea how to approach this and any feedback would be appreciated. I work in healthcare and know that the experience is relevant. Thank you!
