DLC Phase 2 problem

So I’m trying to speed run radhan with a melee build, getting him to phase two is easy but when the cutscene is over (skipped) I spawn at the fog wall instead of right in front of him. Anyone know why this happens? I see videos of other people going into phase 2 even faster than I am but they are spawning in front of him.
