I can't lucid dream some advice?
Hey guys before anyone tells me to read though the reddit or Google or YouTube I have. I've wanted to lucid dream since I was a teen but I bad trouble recalling dreams I might also have aphantasia if that's how you spell it.
No matter how much I wrote remember my dreams I wouldn't which made journaling pointless except writing that I couldn't remember last night's.
I was getting worried that by writing every morning that I couldn't remember it felt like what people tell you to do before go to sleep, remmeber your dreaming. I felt like I was working backwards and I gave up for years even questioned if it was real it's hard to grasp something you haven't subjectively exprinced.
Anyway lockdown happened I was out of work. I had been reading books about robot monroe assuming that it was proably the same thing as wild I began to listen to gateway tapes.
Nothing happened. I decided to start 4hz sounds or whatever on YouTube whilr doing wbtb
After months of doing it and nothing happening (I choose to wild because I coulcnt remmebrr my dreams) it happened 1 hour and 15 minuets in I felt.. things.. I saw.. saw is kinda a werid way to say it I ddint see them as real but vague images one of something putting its arm out to I guess strangle me but it was so vauge it wasn't scary or anything.
After this I felt myself kinda roll out of bed and I stood in my room everything was vaugeish I started trying to rub my hands but I didn't physically feel them. I then began to feel my hands in bed and scared I'd wake up I grabbed the curtains and tried to feel the fabric but the more I rubbed the curtains the more vauge the dream got until I was just laying in bed again.
I've never ever been able to replicate this again and apart from giving up I don't know what else to really do.
Can anyone give me some good useable advice in my circumstances I feel out of options.
