unprofessional doctors, medical bias

I’m so frustrated with the medical system here. My gynaecologist recommended a trans-vaginal ultrasound (TVS) for me to check for PCOS. I’m 21 and not a virgin. No diagnostic lab near me is ready to do it for me just because i’m “unmarried” and it’s “illegal”. This is so stupid. They’re refusing even when my mom is calling to ask them for an appointment for me.

This isn’t the first instance of medical bias i’ve seen here. My previous gynaecologist started shouting on me and my mom when I went to ask her which birth control pill is right for me. She said things like “you and your mom are corrupted people, please focus on your studies” LOL. So much for having an open mind and doing your job 😭
