2 GREE XK46 panels in a flat

Hello! I have 2 gree XK46 control panels in my flat. One in the living room and one in the bedroom. The weird thing is... The one in the living room says Master, and the one in the bedroom does not. When I turn on the master one and set the a/c settings, then go turn on the one in the bedroom, the bedroom panel has a completely different set of settings on it.

When I turn on the living kroom panel, the vent in the bedroom blows whatever air is set at the master.

Furthermore, the bedroom controller lacks all of the modes that can be set at the master (heating, dry). It only has fan or cool available..

What is the purpose of the second bedroom controller?

Is it just wired in as an optional control panel to set as a master?
