I can’t check my own Rx?

So doctors can call in prescriptions for themselves, but I am not allowed to check my own prescription? Even if it’s not a controlled? Do you think this is a company policy or pharmacy law? Only reason I was the only one working so I am trying to get it done so I can leave on time and don’t have to wait for the other pharmacist…
