Fair Value Calculation on Subscriptions is multiplied by month

We just noticed an issue on the Calculated Fair Value, the existing formula is quantity*fair value price which works when a subscription is annual, but when we sell a subscription as quarterly, it multiplies the amount by 12, I think it has to do with the Alternative Unit being set to mon.  I have searched Suiteanswers but I am probably not asking the right question.   the correct calculated FV amount should be $8,000 (20% boundary) what am I doing wrong?
