A question about puja for a non Hindu.

Question - Beginner

I want to attend my local Hindu temple and participate in worship to the deities here in the United States. I already have a worship relationship with two Hindu deities at my home. I only know English, and I am having trouble understanding the websites for the hindu temples. I am seeing a lot of event for "Puja", and for each of the Puja events there are different prices for "sponsorship".

I'm not sure what this all means. If I just want to worship and participate in the ceremonies and make offerings to the deities and perhaps receive some of their assistance in return, am I going to need to pay money for "sponsorship" just to participate in the ceremony?

And do you think "Puja" will probably be in English, since it is in the United States? Not sure what to expect, and what you would recommend for an English speaking only person that feels very drawn to offer ceremonial offerings to the deities at my local temple.
