Should I still go through with a wedding?
My fiancé (36f) and I (27m) have been engaged for a year and been together for 3 years. Here’s some background, we met in a dating site, she has two kids (who are like my own)and one together, and we currently live in my small apartment.
Recently, I accepted a new job and have been making more money. Prior to that, I was taking care of the kids and house chores. I’ve been on the fence about getting married because she has yet to let me express how she acts towards me and my family. She’s the type to interrupt me, use “always….never” statements, and gaslight me on plans I make, only to say we never finished talking about it.
Lately, despite me taking majority of the work-load at home, we still haven’t found a counselor (the one I picked didn’t seem right to her), we haven’t budgeted for a saving (my checks were being deposited into her account, which I have no access to), and she feels like my love and efforts are enough to make her feel valued.
I guess my question is, can we get past this and get married?
Edit: She feels like I should take viagra because of the 2/10 that I climax before her. Even though I get her there in other ways. I thought that was a bit emasculating.
