I haven't heard from my BF at all and now I'm concerned about this sudden inconsistency...is he cheating on me? 30f 35m

My bf and I have been dating officially as bf and gf for almost a month. Obviously I know this reaction is really weird for only dating for such a short amount of time. However, I learn the patterns of people and how they communicate. I know when my bf is on his game console because he'll reply with fewer words but he will still reply. For example, ill ask him a question and hell reply with one word and ill say your playing your COD aren't you? and hell reply with a big laugh saying yes im playing with the boys right now how did you know? This is also an important communication style to note and although some people may not like it or agree it's just how my bf and I communicate. We dont see each other everyday so we text or call everyday. Not a day has gone by where we dont communicate.

My bf commutes on a long drive to work and works night shifts so sometimes he'll even call me to chat while hes driving and put me on speaker to keep him awake/company. He will always text me in the morning and we will chat here and there throughout the day. Sometimes we will go an hour or two without replying but we always wind up saying goodnight to each other or we will pick up the conversation the next day like nothing.

So here is where I'm getting concerned. My bf and I were texting yesterday and everything was fine. We were actually talking about what to do this weekend and making plans to get away from the heat here in CA. My bf does ask for me to spend the night a lot but I think it's too soon and Im not fully comfortable yet. So I've declined or said I have to think about it. Our conversation was fine like usual. We had just gotten off the phone and I was chatting with him to keep him awake while he drove to work before his 5 day vacation starts (started today) he asked me if I was going to come over today which I said I cant because I have a work event to go to. But I'll be over for his 4th of July BBQ which is tomorrow. We chatted for a few minutes then he said he's arrived at work and hell text me later. He texted me later asking what I was up to. I sent him a picture of a dessert I was eating and he jokingly said omg and proceeded to make a joke and I laughed and said hey the only thing fat is my butt lol he agreed and proceeded to ask me for a sexy photo. I told him I want to but Im too shy. He replied by saying "you're shy about everything" implying how I wasn't going to spend the night because im too "shy." I told him well im sorry im not like other girls who are comfortable with that. (eye roll emoji) he then replied "ohh :0" and since I did not know how to respond to that one word text he sent I went to sleep since It was getting really late and I had work the next day. I woke up thinking I would hear from him like I always do every morning he texts me "good morning" with a kiss emoji but nothing. I figured he was tired and sleepy but he will only take a short 4 hour rest everyday when he gets home until hes up again on his phone or playing his games or whatever.

When 3pm came around and I still did not hear from him I decided to text him. I said "hey what are you doing? :) haven't heard from you all day." Nothing, he did not reply. I gave him a few hours because he always replies to me eventually but 5pm came and I did not hear from him and so I texted him one final time saying "hello? are you ok?" and still have not heard anything from him. This is so unlike him to not respond or contact me AT ALL all day. I was initially worried something happened but hes always at home and he lives 40 min away and I dont want to pop up on him like a crazy person so Im just waiting for a response. The thing that bothers me is he is always on his phone when he has even his guy friends over hes either replying to his silly bro group chat or any other friend so I know hes got his phone on him at all times hes even said that to me himself. So for him to not reply to me now for hours and haven't heard anything from him all day is so unusual for him. Im really getting concerned...like is he ok? Is he injured? Or is he cheating on me and has another girl over? Is he just not interested in me all of a sudden and is purposely ignoring my texts? Why so sudden after we just talked about going away for the weekend? Why now? Why suddenly stop talking to me when we always talk everyday and we always manage to reply no matter what's going on.

I also thought he was kinda annoyed with me about not replying to his last text (which was the one word "oh :0") and thought he was mad about me just going to sleep but even then he would text me. Or maybe he was irritated with me not wanting to spend the night. I still have not heard anything from him today and I checked our social media and he hasn't unfollowed me or blocked me. So now im really concerned but I have already texted him and dont want to harass him so what do I do? Not hearing from him all day is making me either think hes injured or hes breaking up with me without telling me because I have been ghosted before and since this is so out of his norm I am concerned. What do I do if he never contacts me again? Or what if he does?
