Can toxins of bacteria be destroyed ?
Can bacterial toxins be destroyed/inactivated by heat? If no, are there any methods to destoy these toxins?
Example: I have a batch of milk containing a small amount of lets say Staph Aureus. It produces various toxins. If the milk is sterilized by 121°c 15min the bacteria dies. What happens to the produced toxins?
If possible answers preferably with sources. Thanks in advance.
