Draft Room - a tool for optimizing BB picks based on playoff match-ups and team stacks.

This summer I've been building a tool assist in Best Ball drafts. The free-to-use mode looks one pick ahead for players that stack with your team, either same-team stacks, or have week 15-17 matchups. Free mode also supports uploading exposures, which it shows in the player information column. Currently only Underdog rankings and exposures files, as exported by their site, are supported.
The paid mode adds a simulator that uses an evolutionary algorithm to try to build an optimal team based on a set of configurable scoring parameters:
- Total Score: A normalized sum of the below scores, with weightings applied. This score is out of 100.
- Stack Score: The score for the total number of stacks on your team (players on the same real-life team).
- Playoff Score: The score for the team based on how many week15-17 players play each other.
- Roster Score: How well the team conforms to the roster construction options (number of WRs, etc)
- Bye Week Score Score: Whether or not this team has any one off positions (TE, QB) where all the players have the same bye week. By default the total score is multiplied by this, so if a team has a bye week score of 0, indicating overlapping bye weeks, the whole team score will go to zero.
- QB ADP Capital Score: Whether the amount of Draft Capital spent at the QB position matches the configurable options.
- WR ADP Capital Score: Whether the amount of Draft Capital spent at the WR position matches the configurable options.
- RB ADP Capital Score: Whether the amount of Draft Capital spent at the RB position matches the configurable options.
- TE ADP Capital Score: Whether the amount of Draft Capital spent at the TE position matches the configurable options.
There are some pre-configured settings for the simulator that can be selected in the "Draft Options" menu via the "Team Archetypes". These settings are:
- Balanced: Creates an overall balanced team with roughly 3 QB, 6 RB, 6 WR, 3 TE.
- Zero RB: Prioritizes putting draft capital in WRs and investing much less in RB.
- Hero RB: Ups the Draft Captial on RB, while also decreasing the desired number of RBs to 4-5.
- Bully TE: Ups the Draft Capital on TE, while also decreasing the desired number of TEs to 2.
- Elite QB: Ups the Draft Capital on QB, while also decreasing the desired number of QBs to 2.
These scoring parameters and archetypes follow a lot of the amazing work done on ETR:
All these parameters are configurable as well. So if you want to try to go 1 Elite QB, 1 Elite TE, that option is open!
tl;dr; Get suggestions on your next-best pick for Best Ball formats!
