Surgery: Bandages

Oh my! I had surgery on my varicose veins yesterday. They had me under general anaesthetic, and Lasered the top of my thigh and pulled out ones in my lower leg. The bandage they put on me was so tight that when it came to taking it off today at home, I fainted. Is this normal? My husband phoned my doctor and he told me to lie down and have sugar but I feel like such a lemon 😂
