exchange work study balance

Hello, I am looking to exchange at HKUST and was wondering about the workload.

I am mostly looking to take business management/logistics mods. Is skipping classes advisable? I was thinking about taking a few trips here and there and it would be difficult if attendance was graded/mandatory.

I only need to pass my classes if that is of any concern!
