Returning to cubing (since 2018) - what’s new?

I’m a UK cuber who was very into cubing from 2016-2018 but felt I had grown out of it so moved on.

I’ve had not a lot to do this summer and found myself picking up some of my cubes and timing solves again. Been enjoying it and considering doing things I hadn’t done before like finally learning full OLL 3x3 and Yau for 4x4.

What’s new to cubing? - my last cube I bought was the Moyu GTS2M. Used to watch JRCuber, Digicubes and the like but their channels seem to have dried up. What are the biggest developments over the last 6 years?
