Degree and job search

Hi there Can someone please advise me on this situation I’m in. I had an interview and they asked if my degree is attested and if I’ve received it. I don’t have my physical degree and I haven’t formally graduated because we couldn’t afford to pay my final year of fees therefore I haven’t been able to obtain any certification or official transcripts. What do I do in this case? Would it be a complete dealbreaker for the company? And is there any other alternative for this attestation process? Please assist
