Go. To. Mist. And. Fight.

This post is for everyone who has made posts that go along the lines of “how do I get better at PvP?”.

You get better by playing and fighting and losing a ton of money. Go to the mist in the black zone and fight 90% of the people you see. It doesn’t matter if they’re higher IP, just fight. Learn what your weapon is good at doing, learn what its weakness is, learn what the abilities of all weapons do, learn this by fighting. Go to the mist with certainty that you will die, this will help you fight with confidence. Learn from your deaths and repeat. Do this wearing a 20k set or do this wearing 5 mil. It doesn’t matter, just go fight. Those of you that obsess about never dying and being profitable are the ones that will never have the courage to go and learn how to PvP. Die. Die over and over again. Die so many times that you know exactly how it is you’re most likely to die. Brecillien helps, get there if you haven’t. If you’re wondering how to make money if you lost it all fighting and dying, just go into the mist wearing the absolute cheapest set you can afford and clear mobs and campfires. That should give you anywhere from 30-50k just from the mobs alone. This money is used to buy another set and go fight and lose it again. Fight. Just fight people. Dismount when you see someone. Play with such confidence that you make the 1300 and 1400s uncomfortable. Do this for a week and you’ll be surprised how much better you can perform in fights once you’re not stressing over dying and losing.
