Preferred fighter for fleet combat

I'm a bit torn, several fighters seem good and I'm sure they can all work, but I'm curious what people use as their main front line fighter. I'm gonna be using either the ares (tank and 4 guns) or the barracuda (tank and higher missile capacity) as my bomber for sure, but i want a more agile fighter to respond to threats.

I'm currently torn between the Moreya due to its firepower while still being fast as fuck and the asp raider since its still in the standard fighter price tag but with 3 weapons, so in theory they will be able to kill faster AND I can replace them faster.

I will do faction specific runs next time I play, buy for this run I'm looking to combine faction strengths into one hell of a fleet or 4.
