First contact with CNC

Hello everyone! I’m a complete noob in CNC. And just got my hands on a 6040z 4 axis with a YOOCNC M3-USB-JB4 board. I’m trying to make it move with Mach3 and a win7 PC with no luck. Online searches point to driver related problems but finding something legit is not “easy”.

Original owner said the machine was in working condition. Any advice?
