What do I fill this little trench on my property line with?
Background info:
When the City paved the back alley, they made the asphalt surface higher than the bottom of my fence. 15 year later, it's time to fix the fence and fill up the low spot on my property line.
What should I fill up the little trench on my property line again the asphalt to bring up so it no lower pools water?
The gap is about 3 or 4 inches deep. I will be moving the pavement slabs, as they are sitting too low as well.
The posts are surprisingly fairing well! No rot on the posts.
