Expungement for Eviction

Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to file for an expungement of a dismissed eviction from mine and my partners records.

Long story short our last landlord filed an eviction on us when we didn't even occupy the unit (which they had knowledge of) and we got the eviction vacated and dismissed.

Now we're applying for a new apartment and we're getting denied because its showing that we have a possible eviction on our record. We don't want this to show on our record at all since it was never a rightfully filed eviction in the first place.

We live in Minnesota now, but the case was in North Dakota. Any help on how to file for an expungement would be greatly appreciated.
