Leave me be about the milk

Feeding

Before baby was born (7 months, absolutely dream) all anyone cared about was am I going to breastfeed...breast is best...yada yada. I'm quite chill, maybe this is the issue... I wanted to breastfeed but who knows if I can, what if she doesn't like it, I didn't share my plans just said 'Whatever keeps baby fed and works for us.'

Baby is born. We get lucky, she took to the boob, and I was happy to feed. It is still working for us.

Now we've started food (BLW - and a whole other stories of undesired opinions lol)...why is everyone now obsessed with when they can give her milk? She doesn't need it, it's unnecessary. We're still breastfeeding.

The number of comments about when babies in the family weaned, when they started, etc. is absolutely ridiculous. It's making me dread family events. Just let us be. And I'm trying to be so patient. Advice is different in different countries, we have so many generational differences, etc...but I swear...I'm going to pop the next person upside the head lol

No advice needed, just a vent after drop off with Grandma lol
