Worth $1200 ?

Was looking for a new laptop and came across a guy on fb marketplace selling his 2021 M1 16” MacBook Pro with 16gb ram and 1tb SSD for $1200. Would this last me the next like 7 years ? And is this worth picking up over a m2 mba with 16gb ram and 512 SSD
