ec involved with political campaigns

I wanted to create a passion project/organization that partners with political campaigns. I won’t get too detailed but I was wondering if the time period of campaigns will have an effect on it. Do all elections happen at the same or similar times? Because if they do, it means most campaigns will only happen during specified months and maybe in a short period of time every couple years. So, I was wondering if making political campaigns the main focus of my organization would cause it to have less or short term impact and too sporadic.
