The flashier powers like super strength, telekinesis, and laser blast would have insane energy demands. Unless the character is pulling the energy from nothing, what are ways of actually getting it that you think would be good? Plugging into outlets? Drinking gasoline? Eating fissile materials? Bathing in volcanos?
