Are you supposed to feel something when your egg cracks?
I'm 17 and i recently started doubting my gender identity after living my whole life not even considering being transgender and not even understanding the concept of gender identity. Most of my doubts came after watching videos of trans women and also reading posts on this platform about signs and other related things like experiences that points to being trans. I spent most of this week thinking that i might be trans but i was very doubtful and felt like i was faking it.
When i woke up this morning i convinced myself that i wasn't transgender and that i had some other issues with myself and at that time that felt fine but later in the day i went on this site and read some comments. A comment on a post made me end up on a site that was supposed to help me figure out what i was. When i began the experiment i expected it to be no different from the other ones meaning it would just make me more confused. I completed it and the result was in favor of me being transgender the thoughts of me being trans reoccurred and this time with less doubt and the feeling of faking it almost completely disappeared.
I don't know a lot about transgender people since i spent most my life ignoring it, so i'm not very familiar with all the terms. I've heard a lot about the term egg and someones egg cracking, the question i have i if there is a feeling you will feel or will it just be you accepting that your transgender without doubts. Also after these thoughts came back i have had this feeling of tightness in the middle of my chest. This may sound stupid but I've felt pretty numb for many years so i'm not super good at feeling or recognizing my emotions which is why i don't know what this emotion i'm feeling is, i know i haven't had this feeling for multiple years and i can't put my finger on what it is.
