I’ll be honest…I don’t “get” Zach Bryan

I almost exclusively listen to country but am kind of shocked at the massive success ZB has found.

Most of his songs, to me, sound super similar and not very inspired. I get that’s his shtick but none of them (outside of maybe Revival) are big “hits” yet he just played 2 sold out shows in the biggest stadium in New England (not exactly a country music powerhouse).

Additionally, his personal issues make him seem like a pretty unlikable guy.

Is anyone else confounded by his massive rise to fame? I know music is very personal and subjective, and I’m not saying he’s bad by any means, but it just seems like such an odd story
