Bolete soup is slimy?

Made some mushroom soup from fresh porcinnis I foraged yesterday in the high country. The soup is delicious but it's strangely slimy/slippery. Any ideas as to why? This happen to anyone else? It's absolutely delicious but I'm having a hard time getting over the texture.
