Help me choose a GPU

Hi I am looking to upgrade my GPU. I want something that will no issues with 1440p and can run 4k if I want (mainly if I am editing videos/photos). I run a dual setup rn of 1440 and 1920×1080p. I mainly game but do often use it for work/school using solidworks running flow sims. I have listed the pcpartpicker build link below. I am debating between if it's worth getting a 4070ti/ AMD 7900 xtx. Or if I could get away with something less. But I also want to future proof. I'm not big into the like nit picking aspects of PCs, but I want the most bang for my buck (under 1100).
