Arcola 1940 - The local switcher is busy

A little industry I've been working on as part of a larger integrated parking lot for the Merchandise Mart building (famous from Chicago) Note the rail in the concrete. Lots of places in back in the 30's had shared spaces for both railroad and automobiles. The local switcher is picking up some boxcars from the warehouse here. Part of the busy everyday life in Arcola.
